本年6月、大阪府北部地震（震度６弱）は大都市の朝の通勤を直撃しました。このため私鉄ローカル線では列車３６本が駅と駅の間で緊急停止し、運転再開の判断が遅れたことから、乗客数万人が最寄駅まで線路上を歩いて移動しました。女性が普段履いているファッション重視のパンプスやハイヒール・ミュールサンダルで線路上を歩くのは危険であり、女性だけが「災害弱者」となる可能性があります。
