本フォーラムでは、東日本大震災、熊本地震、各地の風水害などの経験と教訓を踏まえて、保健・医療の面で、専門家、実務者、市民が連携して被災者をいかに支えるかを考えます。そして、心身の健康に考慮した避難生活の過ごし方など、市民の方々にも知っておいて頂きたいことをわかりやすく解説します。医学研究が一つの柱である東北大学災害科学国際研究所が主催し、DMAT隊員、DPAT隊員、看護協会、大学院生なども登場します。
